Leon Travel Guide
Leon is the largest city in the state of Guanajuato, located in the central part of Mexico. The life style here varies from very calm to extremely busy, but this won't affect the kindness of its habitants. Here traditions and modern day activities mix well.

Leon's commercial activities are many and varied, with emphasis on the leather and clothing industries. Skillful hands making shoes, boots, belts, jackets, and many other leather accessories can be admired any day of the week. No wonder why, this city, is considered the "country's capital of leather". A small walk around Leon's downtown will be enough to find shops and stalls where you can buy the perfect souvenir to bring back home.

There are many Seminars, congresses and sporting events in this small yet beautiful city. The cathedral, neo-gothic style temples, as well as several museums and restaurants will keep you busy during the day. At night, shortly after the big factories, shops, and businesses have closed their doors, the trendy nightclubs, restaurants and bars will immerse you in world of multicolored lights and music. The word "boring" just doesn't exist here. Put on your dancing shoes, and let Leon's downtown keep you singing and dancing until the sun comes up.
